DIRECTIONS: PREHEAT OVEN TO 350 DEGREES. COMBINE ALL PACKAGE(S) IN A MIXING BOWL. POUR IN 1 (12-OZ CAN) BEER, (ROOM TEMPERATURE). STIR UNTIL BLENDED. POUR BATTER INTO A WELL GREASED BREAD PAN (9X5X4-INCH). MELT 2 TABLESPOONS BUTTER OR MARGARINE AND POUR OVER THE BREAD BATTER. BAKE FOR 55-60 MIN. OR UNTIL BREAD BEGINS TO PULL AWAY FROM SIDES OF PAN. YIELD: ONE LOAF.

NOTE: YOU CAN SUBSTITUTE GINGER ALE OR CLUB SODA FOR THE 12 OZ. (ROOM TEMPERATURE) BEER.

    I used a mix and then also added bacon, cheddar cheese and green chiles (my own touch) and a sprinkle of salt on top of each muffin to take away the sweetness and they turned out great! loved the combo of flavors!
