Shipping Information

Rush Orders: If you need same day shipping, require Saturday Delivery, or have other urgent shipping needs, please place your order and call us over the phone.

Address Accuracy and Address Correction: Our systems automatically ship to the address you provide during checkout. Please ensure its accuracy. We also reserve the right to pass along to you any fees assessed by the carrier to address-correct your package once it is underway.

If you provide an inaccurate address or your package is refused or returned for any reason that is not our fault, we will not refund you the shipping costs and may assess an additional charge if the carrier charges us to return the item (a common UPS practice). If you want us to re-ship your item, you will have to pay a second shipping cost. If you do not want it re-shipped, we will treat your package as if it was a return.

Free Shipping Promotions: We occasionally offer free shipping promotions. Free shipping applies ONLY to domestic U.S. shipping addresses; Hawaii, Alaska, Puerto Rico, APO and other address outside the lower 48 states are not included. Free shipping promotions only apply to retail orders.

If you return an item that included free shipping, we will deduct the cost of shipping from the amount of your refund.

FOB Origin: All items ship FOB Origin. This means that once we have safely delivered it into the hands of UPS, the Postal Service, or another carrier, we are not responsible for any damage, loss or other non-delivery or miss-delivery issues (it does happen, although rarely). We will gladly work with you to help sort out any problem and to facilitate delivery, but once it is out of our hands we can no longer be responsible for your item. We recommend purchasing the optional package insurance if you are concerned about your package.

Domestic: During checkout, the most cost effective shipping option is automatically provided at our discretion. Generally speaking, a more expensive shipping option may be faster, but other charges will apply.

Most items ship from our warehouse in Louisburg, Kansas. Please keep in mind that it can take a week or more for items to travel to the coasts, and that weekends and holidays can experience slow delivery. If you can't wait, please place your order and provide details in the notes section AND give us a call over the phone.

If the method of shipping includes tracking, you will be e-mailed tracking information within 24 hours of shipment. These e-mails may come from RabbitCreekGourmet.com, or the carrier, at our discretion.

Military Mail: We welcome APO/FPO orders and are glad to ship to our men and women in uniform, as well as the many civilians supporting them. We do not consider APO and FPO shipments to be international, and we ship to APO/FPO addresses via Priority Mail.

Most mail is delivered to APO/FPO addresses within one to two weeks.

We occasionally receive a non-standard APO/FPO address, some of which are non-deliverable. Please provide a full and correct address and do not include any country name other than the United States.

International: We offer multiple methods of international shipping, but they usually break down into two categories: slow and cheap or fast and expensive. If you select a slow and cheap method, please expect your package to take two to four weeks for delivery, sometimes longer due to delays in customs. UPS Worldwide Expedited shipping usually arrives in four to seven business days and is highly recommended for international orders.

The quality and timeliness of Postal Services deliveries in other countries varies. As a result, orders sent to addresses outside the United States via postal service are sent at the customer’s risk.

Import duties, taxes and charges are not included in the item price or shipping charges. These charges are the buyer's responsibility. Please check with your country's customs office to determine what these additional costs will be prior to bidding/buying. Customs fees are usually collected by the carrier on delivery but may also be billed later. We will not ship items as gifts, only as commercial samples or merchandise. Please do not ask us to commit fraud by reporting an artificially low price on our customs paperwork.

Not all items are available for sale outside the U.S. Some of the items we sell may be prohibited for sale outside the U.S. by the U.S. government. We will not ship such items outside the U.S. 

If you buy an item that is illegal to import into your country, or if your item is confiscated by customs officials for any other reason, we cannot refund you. You, the buyer, are responsible for knowing your local laws and determining the legality of your purchase.
