Quick Root Beer Beef N’ Bean Soup Recipe


4 slices bacon, chopped

1 pound ground beef

1 (21 oz.) can baked beans

1 cup beef broth

¾ cup tomato juice

2/3 cup root beer

3 tablespoons honey barbecue sauce

½ teaspoon dry mustard

4 drops hot sauce


1. Cook bacon in large saucepan over medium-high heat for 2 minutes. Add ground beef and cook for 6 to 8 minutes or until cooked through, stirring often; drain.

2. Add remaining ingredients. Reduce heat to medium; cover and cook 10 minutes or until thoroughly heated, stirring occasionally.  Makes 4 servings.
